ITI Digital is proud to celebrate the remarkable achievements of our clients, Visit Tazewell County and Patrick County Tourism, who were recognized at the Southwest Virginia Tourism Awards Ceremony, held during the fifth annual Celebrate Tourism Summit at the Wytheville Meeting Center. This prestigious event, hosted by Friends of Southwest Virginia, brought together over 200 tourism professionals to honor leaders in the tourism industry across the region.
Both Visit Tazewell County and Patrick County Tourism were honored with awards for “Best New Website” in their respective categories, a testament to their innovative approach to utilizing ITI Digital’s cutting-edge Digital Experience Platform (DXP).
Visit Tazewell County won the “Best New Website” award for the Marketing Budget $50,000 or Less category. Their revamped website, which features ITI Digital’s DXP Events Calendar, GPS Itineraries, and Business Listings powered by Google Places, has set a new benchmark for interactive online tourism platforms. A.J. Robinson, Director of Communications & Tourism at Visit Tazewell County, expressed his gratitude, stating, “We are grateful for the support and knowledge the ITI Digital team has shared. This award is a recognition of all the hard work and collaboration behind our new site.”
Patrick County Tourism secured the “Best New Website” award in the Marketing Budget $50,000 or More category. Their platform, also powered by ITI Digital’s DXP Events Calendar, provides users with a seamless and dynamic experience, ensuring that visitors can easily navigate local events with real-time updates. James Houchins and Grace Cooper, who led the website overhaul, were praised for their leadership in creating a website that reflects Patrick County’s vibrant tourism offerings.
