Position Overview

ITI Digital seeks a motivated and creative Marketing Intern to support our marketing efforts for the company and our clients, including projects such as New Smyrna Beach Area Visitors Bureau marketing and communications campaigns. This is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, social media management, and client-focused campaigns. The intern will report to the Marketing Manager, who oversees marketing reports, social media strategy, and digital marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Social Media:

  • Monitor and respond to comments or messages to foster community engagement.
  • Assist in planning and scheduling social media content across platforms.
  • Create visuals and graphic designs on Canva, following manager directions.
  • Animated video creation and edits on Canva, Biteable, or Clipchamp, following manager directions.
  • Assist Marketing Manager with engaging post ideas, captions, and visuals aligned with ITI Digital’s branding and client goals.

2. Reports & Data Analysis:

  • Assist the Marketing Manager in gathering, analyzing, and presenting data for monthly marketing reports.
  • Track campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics, HubSpot, or similar platforms.

3.Sales Materials:

  • Assisting the Marketing Manager in developing sales marketing materials such as case studies and videos.

4.Website Support:

  • Assist with content updates and enhancements for client websites.
  • Conduct quality checks on website content for accuracy, SEO optimization, and alignment with client objectives.

5.Campaign Support:

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to execute digital marketing campaigns, including email newsletters, digital advertising, and promotions, for ITI Digital brand and client-focused initiatives.
  • Research market trends and competitors to provide insights for ongoing campaigns.

6. Administrative Tasks:

  • Organize marketing assets and maintain ITI Digital’s and Client-Specific marketing calendars, depending on the active projects list. 
  • Provide support for presentations, proposals, and client-facing materials as needed.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Current higher-education student or recent graduate in Tourism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in English-US, both written and spoken.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
    • Basic design skills with familiarity in using Canva. Knowledge of Adobe Suite is a plus but not required.
    • Basic understanding of digital marketing and social media. 
    • Familiarity with analytical tools such as Google Analytics and a basic understanding of SEO principles is a plus.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English-US.
    • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Starting Hourly Compensation: US$6/hour with a six-month review upon performance.

This contractor position is compensated monthly at the determined hourly rate. Payments are made via PayPal, and you will be required to set up a PayPal account. 

We do not offer Visa sponsorship or relocation services at this time. This is a fully remote position to be performed in the US Eastern Timezone 8AM – 5PM. Must have reliable access to a computer and internet connection for Zoom calls and video.
